Presentation Guidelines

presentations

Speakers are
requested to report to the Speaker's Ready Center at least two hours before their respective session starts.
-
The Center
will be open during Registration hours.
-
Each meeting
room will be equipped with slide and video-projection (1024x768
pixels) systems.
-
Double slide
projection will be possible, however, not recommended by the Local
Organizing Committee.
-
For
video-projection, PC's running Microsoft Windows operating system
and PowerPoint presentation software will be available. We
strictly recommend to hand in your PowerPoint presentations saved
on 3.5"-disk, CD, or ZIP. Conversion of Apple Macintosh files will be
possible in the Speaker's Ready Center. In case your presentation
requires software
other than Microsoft PowerPoint, please contact the Local
Organizing Committee well in advance.

The
scheduled length of presentation time has been communicated within
your letter of acceptance. Prepare your presentation not to exceed
this time as session chairs have been asked to force a tight
schedule.

poster
presentations
-
Set up
time for posters starts on Wednesday, July 11, 12:00, and all
posters have to be mounted by Thursday, July 12, 10:00.

Posters
will be on display for the entire duration of the congress.
-
Chaired
poster sessions will take place on Thursday, July 12,
14:45-16:15, in the poster exhibition areas. Presenting authors
are obliged to attend these sessions and briefly explain
his/her research and answer questions from chairpersons and the
audience.

Designated
board numbers and exhibition areas will be communicated in the final
program.

Poster
boards provide a display area in portrait format, that
measures 150 cm in height (approx. 4' 11") and 120 cm in
width (approx. 3' 11").

Material
required to mount posters will be provided on site.
